Experience Body Life
An essential part of early Christianity was called "Koinonia", that warm fellowship of Christian with Christian, where love, joy, and acceptance prevails.
The New Testament emphasizes the need for
Christians to know each other closely and intimately enough to be to:
- Bear one another's burdens
- Encourage
- Exhort
- Admonish one another
- Confess faults one to another
- Minister to one another with the Word, song and prayer
Small Group Purpose
As Christians gather together in homes, Body Life is evidenced by instructing one another, study, and pray together and sharing the ministry of spiritual gifts. This is a place where members edify one another in agape love.
"...To prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining the whole measure of fullness of Christ." Eph. 4: 12-13

A message from Pastor Tom:
"I am very enthused to see the birth of our "Home Study Groups". There is not a more personal or better environment to learn about the Bible. As you read about the different groups, please know DCF leadership is thrilled that you are becoming involved. I know God will use this personal setting for you to form enduring Christian friendships, to grow spiritually and to reach out to others. Be a part of DCF's Home Study Groups, it will be one of the most dramatic growth experiences in your Christian life!"
