Children’s ministry...

"Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." -Proverbs 22:6

Desert Christian Fellowship is dedicated to fulfilling the teaching of God that "we train up a child in the way of the Lord." Our children's programs are carefully designed to give each child an opportunity to grow and develop in the Lord.

ACTIVITIES:

Holiday Music and Drama Special featuring the children.
Sunday morning Bible classes for grades 1st-5th @ 9:00AM.

SUNDAY WORSHIP TIME - CLUB KID: GRADES 1-5:
This program allows the children to have a great worship experience as well as learn to lead music, pray, share testimonies, sing in the Youth Choir, and apply Bible truth through an organized memory program

SOCIALS:
These fun activities allow children to make new friends & develop positive social skills in a Christian environment.

SPRING EVENTS:

Overnighters:
January 27-28 — Chuck E. Cheese***
March 2-3 — Movie Night Out ("The Lorax" rated PG) ***
Mary 4-5 — Pump It Up

• All DCF children and friends in Grades 1 thru 5 are welcome
• Cost is $10 per event and includes dinner, breakfast, admission to activity and games for the night.
• Bring toiletries, sleeping bag/blankets and pillow, change of clothes and sleeping clothes.
• Please do not bring toys/games from home including cell phones, video games, or music players.
• We meet at DCF at 5PM on Friday night and should be picked up Saturday morning by 9AM. Sign ups are needed to attend.

Preschoolers are welcome for the *** events from 5 to 9PM on Friday Nights Only.

Infant and Child Dedication Day:
Sunday March 18, 2012

This is a special day for the dedication of children birth through age 3 and a commitment time for the parents to the task of Christian parenting. Contact Pastor Kathy or Cathie Hanna-McClellan for more details as the date draws closer.

Butterfly Bash:
Saturday, April ; 9AM to Noon, in the DCF Garden

Join us for this day of fun which includes bounces, butterfly crafts, free food, music, games, piñatas and more.

• Summer Camp and Day Trip registrations also kick off this day.
• Friends Welcome!
• The day's events are all FREE!
